Name	PER-348: Operations Level Response to Radiological/Nuclear WMD : ( _)
Description	Generic event added to the course catalog to be used when scheduling Conferences, Divisional Trainings, Event, Exercise, Meeting, Seminar, or Workshop to effectively show this event on the calendar.
PreRequisite	Recommended Prerequisite: Introduction to Radiological/Nuclear WMD Operations ( AWR-140W - Online)
Target Audience	Course Description: The course is an introduction to operations in a radiological/nuclear environment during incidents involving radiological Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) The curriculum includes detailed information on the radiological and nuclear threats facing our Nation, fundamentals of radiation, an introduction to radiological detection and survey instruments, protective measures that may be employed by first responders, personal protective equipment and decontamination As part of the training, Participants will engage in drills designed to enhance their ability to perform the basic tasks required to safely and effectively execute their duties in a radiological WMD response mission
Additional Information	Class will run from 0830 to 1630. Please use the parking garage located at 200 N. Sinclair Ave. The numbered spots in the EOC parking lot are reserved. Please complete course registration through Acadis in addition to registering on SERT Trac. 1. Navigate to the Acadis Homepage https://ctos.acadisonline.com/ 2. Select the WebForms link. 3. Select New User Account Request. Complete all fields including Applicant Certification. Note: To receive credit for this FEMA course, a valid Student Identification (SID) Number is required on the Account Request. A SID number can be obtained at the following link: https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid 4. Select Submit on the bottom of the page. 5. You will receive an email within 48 hours with your new LMS account information and a request to set up a password.
