Name G393 Mitigation for Emergency Managers : ( G-393)
Description This course is designed to train emergency managers and other interested individuals who have no specialized technical background, but can support mitigation efforts as advocates. The workshop provides activities and exercises that build the participants’; abilities to: perform the tasks and responsibilities of the emergency manager’s role; create long-term strategies for disaster-resistant communities; identify local mitigation opportunities; select mitigation solutions to hazard risk problems; find resources to carry out mitigation activities in a post-disaster environment.

Target Audience
Additional Information Class will be from 0830-1730 daily. Manually will be distributed digitally. Bring laptop. Kelley class room runs cold, so bring jacket or sweater as needed.
