Name L-950 NIMS ICS All-Hazards Incident Commander : ( L-950)
Description This course is designed to provide local and state-level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective Incident Commander (IC) on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities fall into two categories: 1) responding to the incident and the command needs of the incident, and 2) effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of an Incident Commander on an All-Hazards IMT.
PreRequisite PreRequisiteIS-100 C Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100 IS-200 C Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response IS-700 B An Introduction to the National Incident Management System IS-800 D National Response Framework An Introduction G-300 post 5/10/2019 Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents or G-300 pre 5/10/2019 Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents G-400 post 5/10/19 Advanced ICS Command & General Staff: Complex Incidents or G-400 pre 5/10/19 Advanced Incident Command System Command & General Staff: Complex Incidents.
Target Audience Target audience: Includes Emergency Management Officials, Fire Service, Law Enforcement, Hospital Staff, Emergency Medical Services, public works, hospitals staff, & health department officials
