Basic Details

Name	FL-609(f) Permanent Work Eligibility : ( FL-609(f))
Description	This course provides an overview of Public Assistance (PA) eligibility costs, with a specific focus on Category C-G work, and integrates the F-ROC approach to enhance comprehension and implementation. Tailored for local officials and staff responsible for managing FEMA's Public Assistance Grants Program, this course equips participants with essential knowledge and strategies to navigate eligibility determinations effectively. Note: This course is part of the Public Assistance Course Series (PACS). To earn the PACS Certificate, you must complete FL-603(f), 608(f), and 609(f) courses. Once you have attended and received your certificate for all three courses, please email FDEM-RecoveryTraining@em.myflorida.com to request your transcript be reviewed for a PACS Certificate.

Target Audience	This course is designed for personnel who currently manage, or intend to manage, FEMA federal financial assistance grants, including: Direct recipients and/or subrecipients; State, tribal, and local government officials; Private nonprofit entities
Additional Information	Course Time: 01:30 PM - 05:00 PM (local time). Student materials will be sent out the week prior to the class. No hard copies of these materials will be supplied during the class. It is suggested that students bring a computer, tablet, or their own hard copy of the material supplied to review during the course delivery. EOC may run cool for some, suggest bringing a jacket if you tend to get cold.
