PreRequisite IS-26: Guide to Points of Distribution SERT POD Training
Target Audience This Train the Trainer course will focus on planning and facilitating the SERT POD Course
During this course, our trainers will look through the material, identify how to engage personnel, teach experienced and new emergency management personnel and plan for their own trainings
The goal of this training is to provide foundational guidance for County Emergency Managers who will conduct Point of Distribution (POD) operations during an activation, to include standard operating procedures and best management practices
This course will require participants to engage in problem-solving discussions to strategically plan for PODs in both notice and no-notice activations
****County EM Directors, County Logistics Staff, and/or the County POD Management Team
Additional Information Time : 8:45 am - 5:00 pm **This course is scheduled to be Two FULL Days and a Half Day for teach backs.
