Description
This course is designed to provide first responders with the knowledge to recognize and survive a clandestine lab encounter. This course also addresses the many facets of methamphetamine history, effects and new trends in production. Agencies hosting this course are encouraged invite other local first responders to this session (Fire, EMS, Probation and Parole, Corrections, Division of Family Services, Social Services, Department of Environmental Protection, etc.).

• VCFR is hosting am5-day Clandestine Lab class at the training center. July 21-25, 2025, 0800 – 1700. • This is a FREE class. • Bunker gear and SCBA on any hands-on days will be required. • Any HazMat PPE will be provided. • Please register at the link in the flyer (https://cpsireg.spcollege.edu/og_register.aspx?25978) and copy firetrainingcenter@volusia.org for tracking. Class size limited to 40. • Please see flyer for additional details.
