PreRequisite	Students will have to complete a pretest on the NDPTC website. A link will be sent out closer to the course start date.

Additional Information	Join us for our Leveraging Tools for Coordinated Community Disaster Communications course. Gain valuable information that will assist in improving the communication capabilities of your community by introducing various tools and strategies that can be integrated into community communication plans. Participate in practical exercises and learn to leverage coordination among community organizations and resources to ensure effective communications before, during, and after a disaster. Explore your community and the related hazards to find the community’s communication needs and assets. Enhance your knowledge about information needs and requirements of different groups in an emergency and the importance of communicating with different groups at different times. Class will run from 0800-1200.
