Name G-489 Management of Spontaneous Volunteers in Disasters : ( G-489)
Description This course is designed to identify those issues and challenges in the management of spontaneous volunteer; how to manage these volunteer', develop a plan for your community; learn how to utilize and operate a Volunteer Reception Center (VRC). This course will also discuss best practices for managing volunteers including their use by VOADs.

Additional Information The purpose of this course is to introduce the skills and planning considerations that are required to manage large numbers of people who are not affiliated with an experienced relief organization, but who want to help in disasters.
