Name PER-320 Personal Protective Measures for Biological Events : ( PER-320)
Description Personal Protective Measures for Biological Events provides students with an overview of personal protective equipment (PPE), and includes an experiential learning activity (ELA) practicing donning and doffing PPE Level C. Additionally, there is a review of the different types of decontamination and an ELA practicing technical decontamination.
PreRequisite There are no prerequisites for this course. Students also need to register in the TEEX site before class begins. See attached link to complete online registration. A photo identification is required on the first day of class.

Additional Information The course provides participants with an overview of PPE and includes experiential learning activities on donning and doffing Level C PPE and technical decontamination. Additionally, participants review the different types of decontamination. Class times are from 8:00am - 5:00pm in the first-floor auditorium. An e-mail will be sent to students with parking instructions a week prior to class.
