Description Generic event added to the course catalog to be used when scheduling Conferences, Divisional Trainings, Event, Exercise, Meeting, Seminar, or Workshop to effectively show this event on the calendar.
PreRequisite None
Target Audience PER-349 provides response level training to those participants who, in the performance of their normal duties, could encounter a radiological/nuclear incident
The participants will also be provided information on working in a radiological environment in the safest manner possible
There will be a lecture and practical portion where students will have the opportunity to use various radiological detection instruments
This course is appropriate for all law enforcement, security, fire rescue and EMS personnel
Additional Information This course is being taught by a cadre of instructors from the Counter Terrorism Operations Support (CTOS) at the Center for Radiological/Nuclear Training in Nevada. The EOC tends to get cold, so it is suggested that you bring a jacket or sweater. Class will be held from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
