Basic Details

Name	FL-608(f) Emergency Work as of PAPPG : ( FL-608(f))
Description	This course provides an in-depth exploration of Public Assistance (PA) eligibility costs, with a specific focus on Category A-B work. It integrates the F-ROC approach to enhance understanding and implementation. Designed for local officials and staff managing FEMA's Public Assistance Grants Program, the course equips participants with essential knowledge and strategies to navigate PA eligibility determinations effectively. Note: This course is part of the Public Assistance Course Series (PACS). To earn the PACS Certificate, you must complete FL-603(f), 608(f), and 609(f) courses. Once you have attended and received your certificate for all three courses, please email FDEM-RecoveryTraining@em.myflorida.com to request your transcript be reviewed for a PACS Certificate.

Target Audience	This course is intended for personnel who currently manage, or those intending to manage, FEMA federal financial assistance grants, including: • Direct recipients and/or subrecipients • State, Tribal, local government • Private nonprofit entities
Additional Information	The EOC can be quite cold, so it is recommended to bring a jacket to stay comfortable. Business attire is required to maintain a professional atmosphere. Additionally, to keep the space clean and prevent spills, all drinks must have secure lids. Thank you for adhering to these guidelines and contributing to a positive learning experience for everyone. This course will run from 0830-1200.
