Name G-300 post 5/10/2019 Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents : ( G-300 post 5/10/2019)
Description This course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses. 2019 Version of G-300
PreRequisite IS-100.C Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100 IS-200.C Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS 200 IS-700.B An Introduction to the National Incident Management System IS-800.D National Response Framework, an Introduction
Target Audience Individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents
Note: During a Type 3 incident, some or all of the Command and General Staff positions may be activated, as well as Division/Group Supervisor and/or Unit Leader level positions
These incidents may extend into multiple Operational Periods
Additional Information Class will begin at 8:30AM at the Walton County EOC. All course materials will be distributed via email prior to the class and all testing will be electronic. Please bring a laptop, tablet, or other device to access course materials and exam(s). The EOC runs cold, please dress accordingly. If you are having issues registering for the course, please ensure you have addressed the following: - Outdated Prerequisite Courses: The letter attached to the course code MATTERS. This indicates the version of the certificate, and they will need to match to qualify. Certificates should match the labels below: IS-100.C Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100 IS-200.C Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS 200 IS-700.B An Introduction to the National Incident Management System IS-800.D National Response Framework, an Introduction - Uploading Certificates / Certificate Approval: If the student has the correct prerequisites but they have not uploaded them into the SERT Trac profile for approval. Please allow at least 24 hours from certification upload for approval. - Awaiting Supervisor Approval: The supervisor listed in your SERT Trac profile has received an email to allow you to register for the course. Please ensure there contact information is listed correctly in your profile, and ask them to check their email/SERT Trac profile to approve you.
