Description
This focused training is designed to provide an overview of the key responsibilities of debris monitoring during times of a presidentially declared incident. This half-day training is designed to provide participants with strategies to improve debris monitoring operations.
PreRequisite
Target Audience
• Public works employees • Facilities employees • Local or State official employees • GIS staff who handle damage assessments utilizing technology are encouraged to attend as well since the focus has been broadened to encompass this methodology • Anyone involved in debris monitoring operations • Agencies heads may wish to designate staff employees who may handle this function in the event of a presidentially declared disaster
Additional Information
Start Time: 08:30 AM CST End Time: 12:00 PM CST Student materials will be sent out the week prior to the class. No hard copies of these materials will be supplied during the class. It is suggested that students bring a computer, tablet, or their own hard copy of the material supplied to review during the course delivery.
