Name G-317 Basic Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training : ( XXX )
Description "Community Emergency Response Teams", CERT- 317, is a course that serves as an introduction to CERT for those wanting to complete training or as a refresher for current team members.CERT Program educated citizens about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light serach and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
PreRequisite
Target Audience Teen Girls wishing to be better prepared in the event of an emergency
/ With the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, Teen CERT members can assist others in their community following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help
This course will also highlight some career opportunities in emergency management, Fire, EMS, and more
Additional Information This class is intended for Teen CERT (Girls only). Saturday October 5th 9am - 4pm · Saturday October 12th 9am – 3pm · Saturday October 19th 9am - 3pm
