Target Audience Mid to upper level management of: Department/office of Emergency Management Fire Departments Law enforcement agencies LEPC Hazmat committees Mass transit Authorities Hospital management Coroner’s office Ambulance companies DOT Public works Departments Tribal County/City Road and bridge Health department State agencies Humane society/Animal control NGO’s (Salvation Army, Red Cross, etc)
Additional Information Teaches management/planning personnel to assess threats and identify vulnerabilities inmass transit and passenger rail systems. With emphasis on NSSEs, participants learn to recognize and prioritize passenger transportation facility and conveyance hardening to prevent and protect against identified threats such as IEDs. Security and response management plans are developed, including interagency communication, incident command, and evacuation planning. Roles and responsibilities of both public and private sector are highlighted as protection resources and response partners.
