Name G-191 Emergency Operations Center/Incident Command System Interface : ( G-191)
Description The goal of this professional development course, E/L/G 0191 Emergency Operations Center/Incident Command System Interface, is to enable the students to develop an effective interface between the Incident Command/Unified Command and the Emergency Operations Center by applying National Incident Management System principles. Selection Criteria: The intended audience(s) are federal, state, tribal, territorial, local level, private industry, volunteer and nongovernmental emergency management personnel who are active in a community's ICS and EOC activities. This course works best when delivered to combined audience of ICS and EOC personnel. The materials were developed with the assumption that audience members may have little or no actual experience as a member of an Incident Command Post staff or an EOC Staff.
PreRequisite IS-100 C. Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100 or IS-100.c An Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100 IS-200 C. Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response IS-700.b An Introduction to the National Incident Management System IS-800.D National Response Framework An Introduction IS-2200 2200 Basic Emergency Operations Center Functions

Additional Information *ADA ACCOMMODATIONS- Please email eoctraining@broward.org with any ADA accommodation requests at least 48 hours prior to class start time*•Class will start promptly at 8:30AM and end approximately at 5:00PM each day at the discretion of the Instructors. •Please arrive early to go through security, •Bring your FEMA Student Identification Number (SID# If you can’t find it, don’t remember it, or need to create one, please go to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/FEMASID/ •Course materials will be sent electronically for you to upload onto your laptop or convert into a hardcopy document. •Bring a coat or jacket since the room may turn cold at times. •Bring a laptop or something to take notes with. •The facility does have a Community Room with vending machines on site. You may bring food/beverages with you. There are also a variety of restaurants nearby.
