Name MGT-347 Incident Command System Forms Review (MORNING SESSION) : ( MGT-347)
Description This 4 ½ –hour workshop provides a detailed introduction to emergency response supervisors and mid-to-upper-level managers to the Incident Command System (ICS) forms used in the development of an Incident Action Plan (IAP). Participants will examine the primary forms used in an IAP, as well as supporting and other utility forms. In addition, participants will review the planning process and where, within that process, the forms are filled out and by whom.
PreRequisite There are no prerequisites for this course.
Target Audience earn about and use the most common Incident Command System (ICS) forms
The course will prepare you to work with the ICS Forms used in the Incident Command Planning process to assist in the development of an Incident Action Plan (IAP)
You will be introduced to the forms and will practice how to develop and write effective objectives to manage an expanding all-hazards incident
The course will allow you to learn and experience the benefits of using the forms in responding to emergencies or managing planned events
Additional Information *ACCOMMODATIONS- Please email eoctraining@broward.org with any accommodation requests at least 48 hours prior to class start time. •Please arrive early to go through security, •Bring your FEMA Student Identification Number (SID# If you can’t find it, don’t remember it, or need to create one, please go to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/FEMASID/ •Course materials will be sent electronically for you to upload onto your laptop or convert into a hardcopy document. •Class will start promptly at 8:30AM and end approximately at 5:00PM each day at the discretion of the Instructors. •Bring a coat or jacket since the room may turn cold at times. •Bring a laptop or something to take notes with. •The facility does have any vending machines on site. You may also bring your beverages and/or food with you. There are food outlets/restaurants nearby.
