Basic Details

Name	FL-603 Public Assistance Grant Program : ( FL-603)
Description	This 1/2 day course is intended for local officials and staff who are assigned project management duties for FEMA's Public Assistance (PA) Grants Program. This is one of the three courses that make up the PA Certificate. After completing FL-603, 608, & 609 you have the opportunity to receive a Public Assistance (PA) Certificate. Once you attend and receive your certificate for all three courses, please email FDEM-RecoveryTraining@em.myflorida.com to request that your SERT TRAC transcript be reviewed for a PA Certificate.

Target Audience	local government department heads, project managers, and finance representatives
Additional Information	Class times 8:30 AM-12:00 PM ET Arrive early to go through security There is a dedicated parking lot that students can park in and everyone should enter the EOC through the main entrance and go through security before proceeding to the training room. Broward will put up signs directing people from the main entrance lobby up to the training room. Bring a coat or jacket since the room may turn cold at times Bring something to take notes with. You will be emailed the course materials before the start date. The facility does not have any vending machines on site so bring your beverage and/or food with you. There are food outlets/restaurants within close proximity.
