Name L-950 NIMS ICS All-Hazards Incident Commander : ( L-950)
Description This course is designed to provide local and state-level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective Incident Commander (IC) on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities fall into two categories: 1) responding to the incident and the command needs of the incident, and 2) effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of an Incident Commander on an All-Hazards IMT.
PreRequisite E/G0300, ICS-300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents; E/G0400, ICS-400: Advanced Incident Command System for Command and General Staff—Complex Incidents; IS-0100.b, Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS-100; IS-0200.b, Incident Command System for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents; IS-0700.a, National Incident Management System, An Introduction; and IS-0800.b, National Response Framework, An Introduction
Target Audience Target audience: Includes Emergency Management Officials, Fire Service, Law Enforcement, Hospital Staff, Emergency Medical Services

If you can’t find it, don’t remember it, or need to create one, please go to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/FEMASID/ •One of the Instructors will be sending you the classroom course manuals electronically for you to upload onto your laptop or convert into a hardcopy document. •Class will start promptly at 8:30AM and end approximately at 5:00PM each day at the discretion of the Instructors. •Bring a coat or jacket since the room may turn cold at times. •Masks and social distancing will be enforced. •Bring something to take notes with. The facility does not have any vending machines on site so bring your beverage and/or food with you. •There are food outlets/restaurants within close proximity.
