Name 2019 V G-400 Advanced Incident Command System Command & General Staff: Complex Incidents : ( G-400 post 5/10/2019)
Description This course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). The course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses. The target audience for this course is personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area command or Multiagency Coordination Entity. Selection Criteria: Persons expected to perform in a management capacity in an area command/complex incident environment. Personnel must have completed the following ICS courses or an equivalent to these courses: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-700, and ICS-800.
PreRequisite IS-100 C. Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100 or IS-100.c An Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100 IS-200 C. Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response IS-700.b An Introduction to the National Incident Management System IS-800.D National Response Framework An Introduction
Target Audience This course may be required by local jurisdictions, law enforcement agencies, fire rescue departments, etc to be taken to conform with DHS/NIMS/State guidelines or other requirements set forth by credentialing organizations
Additional Information •Arrive early to go through security •Bring your Student Identification Number (SID#). If you can’t find it, don’t remember it, or need to create one, please go to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/FEMASID/ •One of the Instructors will be sending you the classroom course manuals electronically for you to upload onto your laptop or convert into a hardcopy document. •Class will start promptly at 8:30AM and end approximately at 5:00PM each day at the discretion of the Instructors. •Bring a coat or jacket since the room may turn cold at times. •Masks and social distancing will be enforced. •Bring something to take notes with. The facility does not have any vending machines on site so bring your beverage and/or food with you. •There are food outlets/restaurants within close proximity.
