Name MGT-470 FL Establishing Collaborative Case Management Services
Description
PreRequisite It is recommended, but not required, that course participants have previous experience in housing disaster recovery.
Target Audience Course Description: This instructor-based training will present information on how communities can establish collaborative case management services
The course will introduce lessons learned from recent disasters and will provide an overview of currently available resources and tools for effective disaster case management
Using case studies and existing tools and resources, the workshop will provide a training for the community to identify the common barriers to disaster case management and establish a basic understanding of how to effectively implement a case management program
The curriculum will include opportunities to develop stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors, provide checklist-based resources for use in a pre- and post-disaster environment, and best practices for enhancing collaborative case management services
