Name O-305 All-Hazards Incident Management Team : ( O-305)
Description The overall goal of this course is to develop state and regional IMTs to function under the National Incident Management System (NIMS) during a large and/or complex incident or a major event. This course is designed for those who are assigned to function in a Type 3 IMT during a large/complex incident, typically extending into the second operational period. The Type 3 IMT can either support an existing ICS structure, or can assume command of an incident if requested to do so. The Type 3 IMT can ease the transition to a Type 2 or Type 1 IMT for incidents of national significance.

Target Audience This course is designed as a series of simulation exercises and instruction for incident management team members
The simulations are designed to test the students in their functional knowledge as well as their ability to function as a team
Instruction is provided to enhance their abilities to interact, communicate, make decisions, improve risk management and reduce errors
Additional Information URGENT & IMPORTANT: This class is sponsored by FIU Emergency Management & City of Miami UASI. To avoid a parking ticket and the daily on campus parking fees, each participant will need to provide their name, vehicle make & model, and tag number to Dulce Suarez: DBoza@fiu.edu NOTE: Class will start promptly at 8:30AM and end approximately at 5:00PM each day at the discretion of the instructors. Arrive early to find parking. Bring your Student Identification Number (SID#). If you can’t find it, don’t remember it, or need to create one, please go to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/FEMASID/ Bring a coat or jacket since the room may turn cold at times. Bring something to take notes.
