Name G-317 Basic Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training : ( G-317)
Description "Community Emergency Response Teams", CERT- 317, is a course that serves as an introduction to CERT for those wanting to complete training or as a refresher for current team members.CERT Program educated citizens about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light serach and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
PreRequisite
Target Audience Colleges and University, Schools (clubs/organizations), Neighborhoods, scout Group, Faith-based Organizations, Community Organizations, Business and Industry, Individuals, Anyone wishing to be better prepared in the event of an emergency
Additional Information The course is conducted on two consecutive weekend and attendance is required for both weekends to complete training. Friday, February 25, 1800 – 2100 Saturday, February 26, 0800 – 1700 Sunday, February 27, 1300 – 1700 Friday, March 4, 1800 – 2100 Saturday, March 5, 0800 – 1700 Sunday, March 6, 1230 – 1600 (End of course field exercise)
