Name G-489 Management of Spontaneous Volunteers in Disasters : ( G-489)
Description This course is designed to identify those issues and challenges in the management of spontaneous volunteer; how to manage these volunteer', develop a plan for your community; learn how to utilize and operate a Volunteer Reception Center (VRC). This course will also discuss best practices for managing volunteers including their use by VOADs.

Additional Information Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in at the front desk. Please do not park in marked spaces. Students should bring pencil/pen and paper to write notes. Due to COVID-19, several precautions are taken when entering the EOC. Not required, but still follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and/or face covering.
