Name G-317 Basic Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training : ( G-317)
Description "Community Emergency Response Teams", CERT- 317, is a course that serves as an introduction to CERT for those wanting to complete training or as a refresher for current team members.CERT Program educated citizens about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light serach and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
Target Audience Colleges and University, Schools (clubs/organizations), Neighborhoods, scout Group, Faith-based Organizations, Community Organizations, Business and Industry, Individuals, Anyone wishing to be better prepared in the event of an emergency
Volunteer or individuals interested in joining a CERT Group in their municipality
Additional Information Registration required to participate in class - form available here: Room may turn cold at times, bring a coat or jacket Note taking will be required, bring something to take notes with - Electronic or hardcopy This course will be held over several days: o Thursday, March 18, 2021 - 7pm to 10pm, o Saturday, March 27, 2021 - 9am-12n, o Thursday, April 1, 2021 - 7pm-9pm, o Thursday, April 8, 2021 - 7pm-9pm, o Saturday, April 17, 2021 - 9am-12n, o Thursday, April 22, 2021 - 7pm-9pm
