Description SKYWARN is a program developed and taught by National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologists and consists of trained weather spotters who report severe and hazardous weather to help in the weather warning process. SKYWARN Spotter reports provide vital "ground truth" to the NWS
PreRequisite Date: Saturday, March 27th, 2021 Time: 10:00AM-12:30PM Registration: In order to register for this course, you are required to email your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL, and PHONE NUMBER to either of the instructors Robert Molleda ( and/or Carol Sjursen ( A week or two before the class date, the instructors will provide a link to all the registrants to the GoToMeeting page where people will register for the webinar.
Target Audience SKYWARN Training is geared towards anyone with an interest in public safety and communications during extreme weather events
