Name 2019 V G-400 Advanced Incident Command System Command & General Staff: Complex Incidents : ( 2019 V G-400)
Description This course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). The course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses. The target audience for this course is personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area command or Multiagency Coordination Entity. Selection Criteria: Persons expected to perform in a management capacity in an area command/complex incident environment. Personnel must have completed the following ICS courses or an equivalent to these courses: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-700, and ICS-800.

Target Audience This course may be required by local jurisdictions, law enforcement agencies, fire rescue departments, etc to be taken to conform with DHS/NIMS/State guidelines or other requirements set forth by credentialing organizations
Additional Information Course will begin at 0830 and end at 1600 each day. Participants will need to check-in with the front guard house prior to entering the GRU complex. The building which will host the course will be immediately to the right when entering, participants are encouraged to ask the guard for directions. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 incident, all students and instructors will adhere to CDC and local guidelines. Temperature checks will be conducted on students and instructors; hand sanitizer will be available; participants will be seated in a socially distanced manner; and mitigation measures will be communicated regularly throughout the course. All instructors and participants must wear facial coverings in accordance with Alachua County ordinances. Participants that do not comply with this requirement will be excused from the course. During these times of continued protection against the COVID virus, please note the following for all classes at the GRU Eastside Operations Campus: • Please remember, you will be screened at security as you enter the complex. Please have your face covering on as you approach the security building. • Face coverings are required anywhere inside the building until you are seated at your table. You may still continue to wear your mask at your table if you wish. • Any time you get up from your table, or ask the instructor to come over to your table, you must put your face covering back on. • If you are outside on a break, masks are not required outside, but please remember to maintain distancing between people. • There is a contactless water bottle filler in the main hallway. Bottled water will also be available There are no vending machines in the building or nearby, so if you want other drinks or snacks, please plan to bring them. • There is a no-tobacco use policy inside the building and no smoking outside within 25 feet of the building’s entrance.
