Name 2019 V G-400 Advanced Incident Command System Command & General Staff: Complex Incidents : ( 2019 V G-400)
Description This course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). The course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses. The target audience for this course is personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area command or Multiagency Coordination Entity. Selection Criteria: Persons expected to perform in a management capacity in an area command/complex incident environment. Personnel must have completed the following ICS courses or an equivalent to these courses: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-700, and ICS-800.
PreRequisite Required Prerequisites Preferably, the most recent version of the following courses (especially for students that want to attend a future Train the Trainer course). IS-100.c FEMA Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS-100 IS-200.c FEMA Incident Command System for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents, ICS-200 ICS 300 Expanding incidents IS-700.b Introduction to the National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-800.c National Response Framework (NRF)
Target Audience This course may be required by local jurisdictions, law enforcement agencies, fire rescue departments, etc to be taken to conform with DHS/NIMS/State guidelines or other requirements set forth by credentialing organizations
Additional Information Course will be taking place at the Tampa Convention Center (Details to follow by Instructors). Due to Covid Restrictions the class is being restricted to 20 students. Class starts at 8:30 am and last until 4:30 each day. Guest Instructor from the county will be Inaki Rezola, Hillsborough County Emergency Management who can be reached at; and Guest Instructor from the city will be Benjamin Caskey and he can be reached at (813) 274-8170, an additional instructor from Hillsborough County will be Bobby Godbey.
