Basic Details
Name L-950 NIMS ICS All-Hazards Incident Commander : ( L-950)
Description This course is designed to provide local and state-level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective Incident Commander (IC) on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities fall into two categories: 1) responding to the incident and the command needs of the incident, and 2) effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of an Incident Commander on an All-Hazards IMT.
PreRequisite IS-100.b or IS-100 C. or IS-100.c or IS-100.FDA or IS-100.Fwa or IS-100.HCb or IS-100.HE or IS-100.Leb or IS-100.PWb or IS-100.Sca; and IS-200.a or IS-200.b or IS-200.c; and IS-700 or IS-700.a or IS-700.b; and IS-800 or IS-800.a or IS-800.b or IS-800.c; and G-300; and G-400
Target Audience Target audience:Includes Emergency Management Officials, Fire Service, Law Enforcement, Hospital Staff, Emergency Medical Services
Additional Information Class times are 8:30-5:00 each day. Class will be located at UNF Hicks Hall. Either park and enter the front of the building, go left through the double doors close to the care, and proceed to the end of the hall, class is on your right past the restrooms; or park on the East side of the building and enter by the loading docks, class will be on your left. Prior to the class you will get an email regarding parking instructions.
