Target Audience *COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Search Procedures course introduces participants to basic, low risk search protocols
It provides learning activities that allows participants to perform an IED search of a facility, an area, and a route
This course will enable public and private sector representatives to reduce vulnerability and mitigate the effects of IED attacks
*TARGET AUDIENCE: The IED Search Procedures course is designed for public and private facility owners / operators and security staff that may be tasked with search duties during a bomb threat incident
Additional Information *Make sure to bring your Student Identification Number (SID#) to class. *Arrive early to find parking and go through security. *Room may turn cold at times, bring a coat or jacket just in case. *Bring something to take notes.
