Name MGT-346 Emergency Operations Center Operations and Planning for All Hazards : ( MGT-346)
Description The course allows participants to practice EOC operations in a large-scale incident coached by instructors who have emergency management experience and who provide this training nationally. They will use multi-agency coordination responsibilities, processes, and procedures and focus on key information management, resources coordination and situational awareness requirements within the EOC. The participants gain practical experience (virtual) within a state-of-the-art training environment that exploits the capabilities of computer simulation.
PreRequisite All participants are required to have a FEMA SID prior to enrolling in this training. If you do not remember what it is, can't find it, or need to create one, please "google" (FEMA SID number) or visit cdp.dhs.gov/femasid to register for a FEMA SID.
Target Audience Eligible participants include emergency management and response personnel who currently or potentially work in an EOC at the state, local, tribal or DoD installation level
Enrollment can be single participants, jurisdictions, or mixed
Disciplines include, but are not limited to: •Law Enforcement(LE); •Emergency Medical Services(EMS); •Emergency management; •Fire Service; •Governmental administrative; •Public safety communications; •Health care; • Public Health(PH); •Hazardous Materials(HazMat); •Public Works(PW); •Utilities; •Non-governmental organizations; •Volunteer and/or faith-based organizations; •Private business partners
Additional Information *Class will start promptly at 8:30AM and end around 5:00PM each day. *Arrive early to go through security and find parking. *Bring something to take notes. *The room may turn cold so bring jacket/sweater. *Need to bring your Student Identification Number (SID#) with you to class.
