Description SKYWARN is a program developed and taught by National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologists and consists of trained weather spotters who report severe and hazardous weather to help in the weather warning process. SKYWARN Spotter reports provide vital "ground truth" to the NWS

Target Audience The target audience for this course offering is emergency responders
SKYWARN Training teaches emergency responders how to provide useful reports of severe and hazardous weather to help meteorologists make life-saving warning decisions
Additional Information Course Time: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM / Parking access is from Weems Rd. / Check in with facility security. / NOTE: This is the make-up class for the cancelled January 17, 2019 offering.
