Name L-950 NIMS ICS All-Hazards Incident Commander : ( L-950)
Description This course is designed to provide local and state-level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective Incident Commander (IC) on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities fall into two categories: 1) responding to the incident and the command needs of the incident, and 2) effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of an Incident Commander on an All-Hazards IMT.
PreRequisite -100.b or IS-100.c or IS-100.FDA or IS-100.Fwa or IS-100.HCb or IS-100.HE or IS-100.Leb or IS-100.PWb or IS-100.Sca; IS200.b; ICS(G)300; ICS(G)400; and IS700.a;IS800. All certificates of completion from Pre-Requisite courses must be in the student's SERT TRAC profile before registering for the course.
Target Audience Target audience:Includes Emergency Management Officials, Fire Service, Law Enforcement, Hospital Staff, Emergency Medical Services and other Governmental and Non-Governmental Agency assigned to EOC/ Field Response operations management
Additional Information Classes will begin each day at 8:30 a.m. and end approximately 5:00 p.m. STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE FEMA FORM 119-25-1, OBTAIN A FEMA STUDENT ID (SID) AND BRING TO CLASS ON THE FIRST DAY. For more information go to: https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register
