org This is FEPA developed Florida specific training
The curriculum was developed “by Florida County Emergency Management Directors for Florida Emergency Management Directors”
Although the training was designed specifically for county directors and their key staff (deputies, section chiefs etc
) middle and senior level personnel from all levels of government and partner agencies are encouraged to participate
Course materials include very comprehensive information ranging from the history of emergency management to funding and “blue skies” county emergency management responsibilities
Formal materials will be presented at a swift pace to allow for group discussion and analysis by participants
The course is designed to encourage “peer to peer” exchange of information to present and learn from practical application of learning objectives and concepts
