This course will review the role that property insurance plays in the funding of Public Assistance grants
Target Audience
  • This course is intended for Applicants who are seeking or receiving federal grant funding through FEMA's Public Assistance Grant Program who deal with insurance and/or grant management
Course Objective
  • The training provides guidance on how to comply with all federal grant and/or loan insurance laws, as required by statute, regulations, policies and interagency agreements
  • The course will also provide the class with an overview of how to balance FEMA funding and commercial insurance recoveries
