PER-377 Cybersecurity Proactive Defense (CPD)
An intermediate-level instructor-led course designed for technical personnel who monitor and protect our nation’s critical cyber infrastructure. CPD uses hands-on computer lab applications to simulate advanced attack vectors, sequential and escalating attack steps, and hands-on attack execution. Students learn penetration testing skills, defense analysis techniques, and real-time response and threat mitigation steps. Prerequisite: A minimum of three years’ experience as a system/network administrator or as a cybersecurity professional is preferred. An intermediate understanding of network concepts, along with general knowledge of computer operating systems, is required. Experience with handling cyber incidents is preferred. CPD is offered free-of-charge to technical personnel who work for agencies or organizations considered as a part of our nations critical infrastructure.
