Description "Community Emergency Response Teams", CERT- 317, is a course that serves as an introduction to CERT for those wanting to complete training or as a refresher for current team members.CERT Program educated citizens about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light serach and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
PreRequisite Complete Part 1 of the training which is a Hybrid Online class offered by the University of Utah. Email training@eastlakecert.com for the link to the prerequisite course.
Target Audience
Additional Information Online portion is only valid for six months after completion of each unit. Please email certificates of completion for each unit to training@eastlakecert.com prior to attending Part 2. You may ONLY attend Part 2 after completing the mandatory Part 1 online course. The classes will be held from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day.
