Name PER-294 Testing an Emergency Operations Plan in a Rural EOC : ( PER-294)
Description This eight-hour performance-level course is designed with a proactive approach to testing the Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs) of rural communities in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) environment. EOPs are all-hazard plans developed for use by state and local jurisdictions to ensure a coordinated and effective response to natural, technological, or man-made disasters that may occur within an area. It serves as the “game plan” for those who will be tasked with responding to an incident. Testing these plans on a routine basis is critical to their effectiveness.
