PreRequisite **For County EM Directors, County Logistics Staff, and/or the County POD Management Team ONLY IS-26: Guide to Points of Distribution
Target Audience **For County EM Directors, County Logistics Staff, and/or the County POD Management Team ONLY An Instructional Training for Points of Distribution (POD) - The goal of this training is to provide foundational guidance for County Emergency Managers who will conduct Point of Distribution (POD) operations during an activation, to include standard operating procedures and best management practices
This course will require participants to engage in problem-solving discussions to strategically plan for PODs in both notice and no-notice activations
Additional Information Time : 8:45 am - 5:00 pm **County EM Directors, County Logistics Staff, and/or the County POD Management Team **For County EM Directors, County Logistics Staff, and/or the County POD Management Team Only *This course will consist of a FULL Day (8:45 am - 5:00 pm) indoors and a HALF DAY (8:45 am - 12:00 pm) outdoors. The outdoor portion is contingent on favorable weather conditions; however, a half day will be required.
