Name MGT-414 Critical Infrastructure Resilience and Community Lifelines : ( MGT-414)
Description In this course participants will enhance their skills to formulate considerations for the resiliency of jurisdictional assets leveraging cross-sector partnerships. These considerations will enhance the whole community's ability to manage the risk associated with critical infrastructure protection efforts. The course will implement the National Preparedness Goal by facilitating the development of Resiliency Action Plans, involving all jurisdictional critical infrastructure partners. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to increase infrastructure owner/operator participation in jurisdictional planning, organizing, equipping, training, and exercising critical infrastructure protection efforts.
PreRequisite
Target Audience Critical infrastructure owners, operators, and managers; Federal, State, local, regional, tribal, and territorial government officials and managers; DHS personnel; Sector-Specific Agency managers; other organizations and managers with critical infrastructure responsibilities
Additional Information Class is from 8am-5pm. This is at Miami Int'l Airport on 4th Floor Auditorium Park in the Dolphin Garage (parking will be validated) which is the first garage as you enter the departure level. walk to Door #1 and take the elevator (or the escalator from the people mover level) to the 4th Floor Auditorium. Follow signage This course helps to develop a roadmap for progress toward the National Preparedness Goal by facilitating the development of resilience considerations, involving essential community critical infrastructure partners. This stresses the need for infrastructure owner/operator participation in community planning, organizing, equipping, training, and exercising critical infrastructure protection efforts, stressing a whole community approach. To that end, the course relies on practical exercises to reinforce learning objectives and provide participants an opportunity to practice skills necessary to formulate resilience considerations in the local community.
