Name MGT-475 Crowd Management for Sports and Special Events : ( MGT-475)
Description This two-day course is for public safety officials, venue operators, event planners, and other stakeholders responsible for safety and security at sport and special events. The training will provide participants with tools and techniques to assist with conducting crowd management and crowd control operations before, during, and after an event or incident. The course content is scalable and applicable to all sports and special events regardless of venue size, capacity, or type of event.
PreRequisite Participants must register via the FEMA First Responder Training (FRT) website (https://www.firstrespondertraining.gov/frts/students) using the class IDs below: • MGT-475 Class ID: 11866133
Target Audience The target audience for this course includes the following: Sport Venue Managers, Local Government, Law Enforcement, Hospitality, First Responders, Visitors/Welcome Bureau, Emergency Managers, County/City Emergency Personnel, Civic Leaders, Volunteer Service Organizations, Mid- and Senior-level Managers, Mass Transit, Fire and EMS Responders, Committee Organizers, Venue or Event Security, Event Promoters, Venue or Event Professionals, Event Planners
Additional Information This training will provide participants with tools and techniques for conducting crowd management and crowd control. Participants will engage in scenario-based activities designed to expand their ability to resolve risks related to crowd management and crowd control. The training is applicable across the United States regardless of the venue size, capacity, or type of event. Those who successfully complete this course should be able to use this training to develop or improve crowd management and crowd control programs for any sport or special event. Class will runb daily from 0800 - 1700. TO access the parking, please proceed to the gate to the east of the front of the building, call the phone number listed, the Guard will open the gate, proceed to the rear parking lot and park in any UNMARKED space.
