Target Audience
SKYWARN is a program developed and taught by National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologists and consists of trained weather spotters who report severe and hazardous weather to help in the weather warning process
SKYWARN Spotter reports provide vital "ground truth" to the NWS
SKYWARN Training is geared towards anyone with an interest in public safety and communications during extreme weather events
Additional Information
The St. Lucie County EOC can become very chilly, please bring a sweater or jacket. To complete registration for the course please follow the link provided. The SKYWARN Spotter Training course will be from 1:30pm-3:30pm.
