Description
|
"Community Emergency Response Teams", CERT- 317, is a course that serves as an introduction to CERT for those wanting to complete training or as a refresher for current team members.CERT Program educated citizens about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light serach and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

PreRequisite
|
There are no prerequisites for this course. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program helps train people to be better prepared to respond to emergency situations in their communities. When emergencies happen, CERT members can give critical support to first responders, provide immediate assistance to victims, and organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site. CERT members can also help with non-emergency projects that help improve the safety of the community.
