Description This course will help participants establish the essential competencies required for performing the duties of the Facilitieis Unit Leader in an all hazards incident.
PreRequisite · IS-0100: Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS), ICS 100 · IS-0200: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response · E/L/G 0300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents · IS-0700: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System (NIMS) · IS-0800: National Response Framework (NRF), An Introduction
Target Audience The goal of this professional development course is to provide federal, state, and local-level emergency responders with an overview of key duties and responsibilities of a Facilities Unit Leader Type III in a Type III All Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT)
Additional Information · Arrive early to find parking · Bring your Student Identification Number (SID#). If you can’t find it, don’t remember it, or need to create one, please go to: · One of the Instructors will be sending you the classroom course manuals electronically for you to upload onto your laptop or convert into a hardcopy document. · Class will start promptly at 8:30AM and end approximately at 5:00PM each day at the discretion of the Instructors. · Bring a coat or jacket since the room may turn cold at times. · Masks and social distancing will be enforced. · Bring something for note taking.
