Basic Details
Name L-984 Strike Team/Task Force : ( L-984)
Description The course is addresses the roles and responsibilities appropriate to a Task Force/Strike team Leader operating on concert with a local or state-level AH IMT. These responsibilities fall into two categories: (1) responding to the incident and the command needs of the incident, and (2) effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of a Task Force/Strike Team Leader in conjunction with an AH IMT. This is an all-hazards, instructor-led course that facilitates learning through discussion, lecture, and active participation in multiple exercise scenarios
PreRequisite * Required G-300 (ICS-300), Recommended G-400 (ICS-400) *All participants are required to have a FEMA SID prior to enrolling in this training. If you do not remember what it is, can't find it, or need to create one, please "google" (FEMA SID number) or visit cdp.dhs.gov/femasid to register for a FEMA SID.

* NIMS ICS Position Specific training should be completed by personnel who are regularly assigned to functional, support, or unit leader positions on USFA or other Type III or IV All-Hazards Incident Management Teams (AHIMT), or by those persons who desire to seek credentials/certification in those positions
Additional Information *Class will start promptly at 8:30AM and end around 5:00PM each day. *Arrive early to go through security and find parking. *Bring something to take notes. *The room may turn cold so bring jacket/sweater. *Need to bring your Student Identification Number (SID#) with you to class.
