Name
001 MRC Training "Patient Treatment in Adverse Conditions" for Volunteers
Broward College, Continuing Education/WFD – Health Sciences will provide a 6.0 hour training course for a maximum of 30 volunteers. The program, Medical Reserve Corp training will be comprised of lecture and utilization of Human Patient mannequins and hands-on skill stations incorporating problem based scenarios and addressing MRC Core Competencies. Class will be held at Central Campus, Building 8, Room 223/229 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Lunch will be on their own. The course has been approved by CE Broker, Broward College Provider #50-266 for the following licensing boards: • Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice (6.0 Hours) • Florida Board of Respiratory Care (6.0 Hours) • Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family • Therapy and Mental Health Counseling (6.0 Hours) • Florida Board of Nursing (6.0 Hours) • Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel (6.0 Hours)
