The goal of this 40-hour course, L449 Incident Command System (ICS) Curricula Train-the-Trainer, is designed to prepare instructors to deliver Incident Command System Curricula related training courses.
The learner must achieve a minimum passing score of 80% on final knowledge assessments or demonstrate mastery on performance assessments or research assignments to earn the IACET CEU.

PreRequisite
|
Required Prerequisites: IS-0100.b, Introduction to the Incident
Command System, ICS-100; IS-0200.b, Incident Command System
for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents; E/G0300, ICS-300:
Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents;
G0400, ICS-400: Advanced Incident Command System for Command
and General Staff—Complex Incidents; IS-0700.a, National Incident
Management System, An Introduction; and IS-0800.b, National
Response Framework, An Introduction.
Note: Participants must have taken the EMI, U.S. Department of
Agriculture, National Fire Academy, or National Wildfire Coordinating
Group ICS courses. Other ICS courses will be reviewed for consistency
with the ICS objectives prescribed by the NIMS Integration Centert

Target Audience
|
This course prepares participants to deliver EMI’s ICS
curricula While ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-402, and G0191,
Emergency Operations Center/Incident Command System Interface,
courses are addressed, the major emphasis is on E/G0300,
ICS-300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding
Incidents; and G0400, ICS-400: Advanced Incident Command
System for Command and General Staff—Complex Incidents

Additional Information
|
Participants must demonstrate
a working knowledge of ICS through experience and
training and must be experienced in delivering adult
education. Participants must have worked as IC,
Command, or General Staff positions on incidents,
planned events, or exercises that went longer than one
Operational Period or involved a written Action Plan and
involved Multi-Agency Coordination
