Name G-300 Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents : ( G-300 pre 5/10/2019)
Description This course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
PreRequisite IMPORTANT: YOU ARE REQUIRED TO UPLOAD THE FOLLOWING PREREQUISITE CERTIFICATES INTO YOUR SERT TRAC ACCOUNT PRIOR TO YOUR ACCEPTANCE AND ATTENDANCE IN THE CLASS. FDEM and County will not approve your participation if they are not found in your SERT TRAC Account: • IS-100 (Introduction to ICS) • IS-200 (Basic ICS) • IS-700 (Introduction to NIMS) • IS-800 (Introduction to National Response Framework) – Required in Broward County Starting January 2015 Pre-requisite courses can be taken online at the Emergency Management Institute’s (EMI) Independent Study Program: http://training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.asp?page=all
Target Audience This course may be required by local jurisdictions, law enforcement agencies, fire rescue departments, etc
to be taken to conform with DHS/NIMS/State guidelines or other requirements set forth by credentialing organizations
Additional Information Class will start promptly at 8:30am each day and end approximately at 5:00pm. This is a secured building so please allow time for security check. The Classroom may at times be very cold so it is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket for those occasions.
