Times: 0830 - 1700 This 8-hour course takes a look into the fundamental skills needed to assess the possible hazards and actions of hazardous chemical substances. By taking a look at the behavior model of an unknown and coupling it with metering, PPE selections and how tactical objectives can be established. Students will take a look at the structure of a chemical and dissect it to understand its actions and hazards especially to the first responder.
