FL-606 Environmental & Historic Preservation Compliance Training
This comprehensive training is meant to provide essential information on compliance with environmental and historic preservation regulations and guidelines in order to satisfy the requirements of FEMA’s Environmental and Historic Preservation (EHP) section review of applications for FEMA funding of restoration projects after a declared disaster event. This course offers an in-depth examination of the EHP review process and an evaluation of common issues that may affect federal funding- This course is one full day in length.
Target Audience
This course is designed for State, local, and Tribal personnel, as well as their consultants and contractors, who are responsible for environmental and historic preservation compliance and record retention for projects funded by federal grants
This course is taught in conjunction with G-202, Debris Management as the two courses are inter-related
Course Objective
Course Objective: To provide an understanding of the Environmental and Historic Preservation review process conducted on all FEMA-funded disaster projects
To address potential environmental and historic preservation issues that may affect project eligibility and funding
